Co-President, Barry Cruvant WG’25

Barry Cruvant is a 2025 MBA candidate. Prior to Wharton, he served in the US Navy as a Submarine Officer where he earned his certification as a Nuclear Engineer. Barry spent last summer at Citi’s NYC office in the Global Industrials Investment Banking group and currently interns for Carmine Partners – a long term hold committed capital vehicle focused on healthcare, software and utilities. Barry graduated in 2017 from the University of Southern California with a BS in Biomedical Engineering.

Co-President, Jason Nguyen WG’25

Jason Nguyen is a 2025 MBA candidate. Prior to Wharton, he worked as a technology investor at Forester Capital, an investment platform based in Stamford, CT, and C.M. Capital Advisors, a single family office based in Palo Alto, CA. During his time at Wharton, he interned at Anacapa Partners and ETA Equity, and acquired AZTAC, a healthcare-focused regulatory compliance services firm. He started his career at BB&T Capital Markets as an equity research associate covering metals and mining. Jason graduated from the University of Virginia in 2015 with a double major BA in Economics and Politics

Co-President, Connor Mahoney WG’25

Connor Mahoney is a 2025 MBA candidate. Prior to Wharton, he served as an infantry officer in the United States Marine Corps and later joined Council Capital, a lower middle-market healthcare private equity firm focused on founder-led healthcare service businesses. Connor has interned with two search-acquired companies led by Wharton graduates, Packaging Specialties and Icon. He holds a Bachelor’s in Learning and Organizational Change and a Master’s in Public Policy from Northwestern University. At Northwestern, he also played football and was elected captain of the 2016 Pinstripe Bowl champions.

VP of Diversity Equity & Inclusion, Charles Gay WG’25

Charles Gay is a 2025 MBA Candidate. Prior to business school Charles spent three years in asset management and private equity at Cambridge Associates and HarbourVest Partners. Charles worked closely with the firm’s CEO and deal teams to manage, allocate and determine investments for the firms. This past summer Charles participated in New Majority Capitals intensive bETA program, training the next generation of minority searchers and is currently an MBA intern for Carmine Partners a search fund launched this year, focused on healthcare, software and utilities. Charles graduated in 2021 from the University of Michigan with a BA in Industrial and Organizational Psychology.

VP of Finance, Ashish Kulkarni WG’25

Ashish Kulkarni is a 2025 MBA Candidate.  Prior to business school, Ashish spent two years at Golden Gate Capital, a ~$19B middle market PE firm in their industrials investing team. Ashish began his career at Bain & Company where he primarily worked on commercial due diligence work for private equity clients in the retail and industrial segments. Ashish spent his summer as an investment professional at Apollo in their Climate Transition fund, and is currently interning with two search funds, Portola Growth Partners and Ames Capital Partners. Ashish graduated in 2019 from Rice University with a B.S. in Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering.

 

VP of Events – Lunch and Learns, Monica Rekhan WG’25

Monica Rekhan is a 2025 MBA Candidate. Before Wharton, Monica was an Assistant Vice President at Citigroup. Monica led multi-million digital transformation projects for Citi across geographies (Taiwan, SG, Luxembourg, US, UK, etc) and businesses (retail, securities, and payments,etc). She also holds experience in operations, client management, and Chief-of-Staff roles. She has volunteered her time and skills for a national business chamber and a venture philanthropy platform in India. Monica spent her summer at a NYC search fund Akadia Capital Partners helping searcher set up his tech stack, initiate the intern program, build thesis and source deals. She is interested in acquiring a small business in the space aligned to her interest and experience (education, HR, financial services, and IT). She holds B. Tech in Computer Science and PGDM degree from one of the best universities in India.

 

VP of Events – Social, Jesse Hunsicker WG’25

Jesse Hunsicker is a 2025 MBA Candidate. Prior to Wharton, Jesse spent three years working at Centerbridge Partners, where he focused on private equity and special situations investments in technology and services companies. Jesse began his career at Lazard, where he focused on M&A advisory for media companies. Jesse graduated from the University of Virginia in 2017, with a B.S. in Commerce and is originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

VP of Events – Community , Oritseweyinmi Tania Olamide-Kotun WG’25

Oritseweyinmi Tania Olamide-Kotun is a 2025 MBA Candidate. Before business school, Tania spent 9.5 years working across different energy sectors  – utilities, oil & gas, and renewables, within the energy industry. In her most recent role as a Senior Project Manager at Enertis Applus, she conducted technical due diligence to support Independent Power Producers (IPPs) and renewable energy Private Equity investors in securing tax equity funding. Before joining Enertis Applus, she held various engineering positions at Burns & McDonnell, Freeport-McMoran, Schlumberger, ConocoPhillips, and American Electric Power. She spent her summer at Barclays in their Natural Resources group. She also spent her summer before business school as a Private Equity Summer Associate at IMB Partners. Tania is from Houston, Texas, and earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Electrical Engineering, with a focus on Power Systems, from Texas A&M University in College Station.

VP of Careers, Mark Guerra WG’25

Mark Guerra is a 2025 MBA Candidate. Before business school, Mark spent 3.5 years at Clinicos IPS, a Colombian-based healthcare services company owned by the search fund Andino Capital Partners. While at Clinicos, Mark served in a variety of roles, working to advance strategic projects, institutionalize the FP&A process, and evaluate M&A and organic growth opportunities. Prior to Clinicos, Mark started his career in New York City where he worked for 2 years at Irving Place Capital, a middle-market private equity firm that invests in industrial and consumer companies, and 3 years in investment banking at Barclays. Mark is from San Antonio, TX and graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a BBA in Finance and a BA in Economics.

VP of Marketing, Gaurav Jadhao WG’26

Gaurav Jadhao is a 2026 MBA Candidate. Prior to pursuing his MBA, he spent six years at BlackRock, where he worked on mandates in Infrastructure Investing and Transaction Advisory. Gaurav holds a Master’s degree in Financial Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur, India.

Summit Planning – Marketing, Tyler Triscari WG’25

Tyler Triscari is a 2025 MBA Candidate.  Before business school, Tyler spent two years at Providence Equity focused on software and media investments and one year at Andalusian Private Capital which is a family office with a flexible mandate backed by David Tepper.  Tyler began his career at Bank of America where he was focused on advisory services in the M&A group.  This past summer, Tyler interned with Pacific Lake in their operator in residence program.  He spent time with Extended Care Professional, which is a search backed operating company focused on providing software for the assisted living end market.  Tyler graduated in 2018 from Cornell University with a BA in Economics and Information Science.

Rebecca Abara-Azubuike is a 2026 MBA Candidate. Prior to Wharton, Rebecca was the Head of Engineering Operations at Angi, an IAC company. Rebecca leveraged her $18M P&L to facilitate strategic planning, cultural transformation, organizational restructuring, and other effectiveness improvements within the Engineering org. She also holds experience in technical program management, agile transformation, and peer mediation. In the summer before her MBA, Rebecca interned with Lighthouse Equity Partners, an independent sponsor driving service-focused search acquisitions in Connecticut. She is excited to acquire a small-to-medium sized business in software or software-enabled services. Rebecca graduated from Northwestern University with honors in 2014, with a Bachelor’s degree in Learning and Organizational Change and a minor in Leadership Studies. She hails from Dallas, Texas.

Josh Urquiaga is a 2026 MBA candidate. He began his career at Bain & Company, where he worked primarily with a Venture Capital & Growth Equity accelerator team in addition to supporting various private equity diligences and contributing to Bain’s Global Tech Report. During this time, he co-founded Project Pure, a social-impact venture that established a water purification facility in Mali. After Bain, Josh joined Coinbase’s Business Operations & Strategy team, where he guided cross-functional efforts to bring new products to market. Josh holds a BS in Genetics, Genomics, & Biotechnology with a minor in Strategic Management from Brigham Young University.

Paul Mewes is a 2026 MBA candidate. He began his career at Mars & Company, a CPG-focused consulting firm, where he advised Fortune 100 clients on growth strategies and streamlined operations. After Mars & Co, Paul worked on the Go-to-Market Strategy & Operations team at Salesforce, where he developed KPIs to track the performance of new products and leveraged data to identify growth opportunities. Prior to Wharton, he interned at LineLeap, an entertainment startup, where he built out the SDR sales team. Paul graduated from Stanford in 2019 with a BS in Product Design.
