Co-President, Jeff Franco WG’23
Jeff is a Wharton 2023 MBA candidate. Prior to Wharton, Jeff helped lead Strategy & Operations for a high-growth MedTech company. Before that, he worked in both private equity and investment banking covering companies across the business services, distribution, manufacturing and energy industries. Jeff holds both a MPA and BBA from the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin.
Co-President, Aman Parikh WG’23
Aman Parikh is a 2023 Wharton MBA Candidate. Aman previously worked for Sentinel Capital Partners as private equity associate and at William Blair as an investment banking analyst. He received a BS in Industrial Engineering and Economics from Northwestern University.
Co-President, Sam Amankwah WG’23
Sam is a Wharton 2023 MBA Candidate who previously worked as a power systems engineer. He also has experience running his own business, when he started and ran a sugar manufacturing facility in Turkey and Ghana. He graduated with highest honors from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology with a BSc in Electrical/Electronic Engineering and on the weekend, will typically be found at a Sixers game in Philly.
VP of Events, Grace Weisiger WG’23
Grace Weisiger is a 2023 MBA Candidate. Prior to business school, Grace was an early employee at Bumble and led the company’s Community Marketing and Operations department. In her role, she focused on driving results through strong team management, creative marketing strategies, and effective process implementation. She guided her team through transitional moments including a majority acquisition by Blackstone in 2020 and Initial Public Offering (IPO) in 2021. Grace graduated with honors from the University of Georgia with a BBA in Risk Management and Insurance and International Business.
VP of Events, Roy Wang WG’23
Roy Wang is a 2023 MBA/MA dual-degree candidate with Wharton and the Lauder Institute. Roy has worked as a financial services professional throughout his career across many geographies including in New York, London, Hong Kong, Tokyo, and Riyadh. Most recently, Roy served as AVP in International Investments with Saudi Arabia’s sovereign wealth fund – Public Investment Fund, and prior to the buy-side role, he has mostly worked in investment Banking (M&A and Capital Markets) with renowned firms such as Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Credit Suisse, and Goldman Sachs. Entrepreneurial in spirit, Roy has co-founded his first company (Media & Entertainment) in Shanghai, China at age 17, and later sold his stake to a larger corporation. Roy received his BA from Middlebury College (Hons). Roy has been a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter holder since 2017.
VP of Education, Arthur Gosnell WG’23
Arthur is a Wharton 2023 MBA Candidate and a Joseph Wharton Fellow. He started his career in investment management at Cambridge Associates, where he worked across the asset class spectrum managing portfolios for family offices and foundations. After that, Arthur worked at Medley Partners, the private equity arm of Jim Simons’ family office. Most recently, he interned in corporate finance at Kraft Heinz and at NextGen Growth Partners in Chicago. He holds a BS in Economics from Duke University and currently serves as a visiting board member at Squash Smarts Philadelphia and as a board observer at Rare Beauty Brands.
VP of Diversity & Inclusion, Tanatsa Kamhunga WG’23
Tanatsa is a Wharton 2023 MBA candidate. Before Wharton, Tanatsa worked as a Sr Pricing Manager at McKesson. Tanatsa and his wife run a family travel backpack company called Elev8ed Cre8ion which their two little girls inspired. He received a BS in Actuarial Science from The Lincoln University of Pennsylvania.
VP of Events (Conference), Sean McIlroy WG’24
Sean McIlroy is a 2024 MBA Candidate. Before business school, Sean spent ten years in the Army, first as an Infantry Officer and then as a Special Forces (Green Beret) Officer. His experiences in the Army allowed him to take leadership roles within small, more technical teams and larger organizations. Before attending Wharton, Sean interned at NextGen Growth Partners, assisting an Entrepreneur-in-Residence in their search efforts. He holds a BS from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
VP of Events (Conference), Billy O’Neil WG’24
William “Billy” O’Neil is a 2024 MBA Candidate. Prior to business school, Billy spent 13 years in the Marine Corps, first as a Marine Scout Sniper before taking selection and becoming a Marine Special Operations Raider. Pre-MBA he took an operations role with Windjammer Capital and found many of his previous skills to be transferrable to leading a team in a business setting. He holds a BS in Strategic Studies and an MS in Organizational Leadership both from Norwich University.
VP of Marketing & Communication, Joseph An WG’24
Joseph is a 2024 MBA Candidate. Prior to business school, Joseph worked in early-stage investing at Telstra Ventures, an independent venture capital fund anchored by one of Australia’s largest companies, where he focused on investing in enterprise SaaS investments. Previously, Joseph worked in special situations private equity at Blue Wolf Capital in New York, and started his career in investment banking
at Lazard and Goldman Sachs. Joseph is also a co-owner of a car wash company in Canada. He holds a BS in Economics from The Wharton School.
VP of Finance, Darrell Hanks WG’24
Darrell Hanks is a 2024 Wharton MBA Candidate. Darrell previously worked as Director of Strategy and Operations and Chief of Staff for PDQ, a technology company owned by TA Associates. Prior to PDQ, Darrell was a private equity associate at Sorenson Capital. He began his career as an investment banking analyst at J.P. Morgan. He received a BS in Finance from Brigham Young University.
