Co-President, Sean McIlroy WG’24

Sean McIlroy is a 2024 MBA Candidate. Before business school, Sean spent ten years in the Army, first as an Infantry Officer and then as a Special Forces (Green Beret) Officer. His experiences in the Army allowed him to take leadership roles within small, more technical teams and larger organizations, deploying across Europe and the Middle East. Sean spent the summer between his first- and second-year working PE Ops at Windjammer Capital Partners, a middle market fund. Sean plans to conduct a self-funded search after graduation. He holds a BS from the United States Military Academy at West Point.

Co-President, Billy O’Neil WG’24

William “Billy” O’Neil is a 2024 MBA Candidate. Prior to business school, Billy spent 13 years in the Marine Corps, first as a Marine Scout Sniper before taking selection and becoming a Marine Special Operations Raider. Pre-MBA he took an operations role with Windjammer Capital and found many of his previous skills to be transferrable to leading a team in a business setting. Billy plans to conduct a self-funded search focusing on Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey. He holds a BS in Strategic Studies and an MS in Organizational Leadership both from Norwich University.

VP of Marketing & Communication, Joseph An WG’24

Joseph is a 2024 MBA Candidate. Prior to business school, Joseph worked in early-stage investing at Telstra Ventures, an independent venture capital fund anchored by one of Australia’s largest companies, where he focused on investing in enterprise SaaS investments. Previously, Joseph worked in special situations private equity at Blue Wolf Capital in New York, and started his career in investment banking at Lazard and Goldman Sachs. Joseph is also a co-owner of a car wash company in Canada. He holds a BS in Economics from The Wharton School.

VP of Events – ETA Summit, Colin Kenney WG’24

Colin is a 2024 MBA Candidate and member of Wharton’s Healthcare Management Program. Prior to business school, Colin worked in private equity at Linden Capital Partners, a $3bn fund in Chicago focused solely on investments in healthcare services businesses. Before Linden, Colin worked at Bank of America in the healthcare group and at Petsky Prunier in M&A banking. Colin spent the summer between his first and second year working for Nyx Partners, a funeral home and cemetery ETA roll-up started by WG’19 alums Jason Vahn and Max Francois-Poncet. He received a BS in Human & Organizational Development with a minor in Finance from Vanderbilt University.

Treasurer, Philip Weinstein WG’24

Phillip Weinstein is a 2024 Wharton MBA and Lauder Candidate. Before business school, Phillip previously worked at Ankura Consulting as a Senior Associate. Prior to Ankura, Phillip was an Analyst at Turn/River Capital and started his career at Vanderbilt University’s Office of Investments focusing on private markets. He received a BA in Economics and Russian from Wake Forest University and a MS in Commerce from University of Virginia.  

 

VP of Events – Lunch and Learns, Zack Ciampa WG’24

Zack Ciampa is a 2024 MBA Candidate. Zack has lived all over the country after ten years in the US Army. He served in Army Special Operations, 75th Ranger Regiment, commanding elite teams ranging in size from 9 to 180 Rangers while deployed in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Syria. This past summer, Zack interned with Apex Service Partners, as an interim General Manager of an HVAC small business. He graduated from West Point and lives in Philadelphia with his wife and two kids.

VP of Events – Lunch and Learns, Elise Testa WG’24

Elise is a 2024 MBA Candidate. Before pursuing her MBA, Elise worked at Asurion, where she helped create a long-term holding company for market-leading enterprise software and tech-enabled services businesses. Elise currently serves as an Advisor to Asurion Investment Company. During the summer, Elise worked as Chief of Staff to the co-CEOs at Revive Med Spa. Previously, Elise was a Private Equity Associate at Audax, where she executed one platform acquisition and more than 5 founder-owned add-ons. She began her career in Investment Banking at JP Morgan. Elise holds a BA in Economics from Williams College.

VP of Marketing, Ben Brattain WG’24

Ben Brattain is a 2024 MBA Candidate. Before business school, Ben spent 5 years as a software engineer, with a focus on Financial Services and Trading at JPMorgan Chase. Pre-MBA, Ben worked as a Product Manager, learning how to drive features that customers want. This past summer, Ben worked at Amazon Web Services as a Product Manager, helping to grow SaaS products and for a former Searcher from Stanford, helping him implement a Marketing Strategy. He holds a BS in Computer Science from Indiana University.
